Housing in Rotterdam - The Netherlands

I will move to Rotterdam this August and I am looking for a decent place to live there.

The reason I am moving there is that I will take a research master at ERIM and hopefully in two years from now I'll start my Phd...

.

Well... if I don't find a place to live soon I will not take a Phd in Marketing as I wish, but I'll be able to take one in real estate in Rotterdam for sure :)

Romanian Heavy Metal

I recently discovered this heavy metal band from Romania called Bucovina. Bucovina is the name of a romanian region.

They play really good heavy metal. The lyrics are in Romanian... so for non romanian speakers they don't mean too much. For Romanian speakers... the lirycs are very nice considering the old language used.

The only person that deletes Facebook Friends

Yesterday I was talking with a friend (Andrei) and I told him that I deleted 5 of my 70 facebook friends. He t0ld me that I am the only person that deletes facebook friends and t everybody is increasing their number of facebook friends.

.

Well.. I believe that Facebook and other social networks changed the meaning of the word friend. Personally I think if somebody is my friend on facebook, I should actually have a relationship with that person.

Perhaps I am the lonely Nut... or I am one of the few that actually think when asked to "ad as a friend".

Housing in Rotterdam

As I am going to move to Rotterdam this September, I am looking for a place to stay. What I can say is that this city is extremely expensive. I mean it... it's really expensive - about 400 euros for a room in an apartment. And the room is small - 8 - 14 sqm.

Does any one know a good deal for housing in Rotterdam?
